The men seemed to agree on a lot of issues Wednesday night, like cutting federal spending and repealing health care reforms. Where they seem to differ is regarding what kind of candidate they think voters want to see, and whether that person is a seasoned politician or a newcomer.

Eric Hovde has spent his career in the private sector, making his money in real estate. Among others, he touched on social issues, like single parenthood. "We know that leads to higher poverty rates, higher incarceration rates," said Hovde. Meanwhile, Neumann took it a step further, arguing the traditional family is the most important thing concerning the country right now.

On Government Reform: Clean Up Washington: 12-year term limit for Congress

Neumann shared his "Clean Up Washington" plans. Neumann would like to see a 12-year term limit for Congress. He also wants to take away federal pensions and benefits from former members of Congress who become lobbyists. Neumann says the plans would limit federal spending and help balance the budget. "We're going to limit the influence of special interest groups and lobbyists," said Neumann.

On Budget & Economy: Balance the budget by eliminating Obamacare

Former Congressman Mark Neumann touted experience. "I've written a five year plan to balance the budget by eliminating Obamacare, cutting $1.4 trillion out of the budget," Neumann said raising a printed copy of his plan. All the candidates do seem to agree on the key issues--getting the budget under control, and creating jobs.
